Short version: your income and expense figures never leave your browser.
Your tax numbers stay on your device
The income and expense amounts you enter into the calculator are processed entirely in your browser and saved only in your browser's local storage, so the site remembers them next time. They are never sent to us or to any server. We cannot see what you earn or what you spend.
The $5 pass
Payment for the optional Tax-Year Pass is handled by Stripe, which processes the card and sends us only a confirmation that a payment succeeded. We do not see or store your card details. Your pass is a signed token kept in your browser; it contains no personal information.
If you email us (for example about advertising, or a correction), we receive your message and email address and use them only to reply. We don't add you to any list.
Analytics and cookies
We do not run advertising trackers or sell data. Any advertising shown on the site is matched by page topic, not by tracking you across the web. If usage analytics are added later, they will be privacy-respecting and disclosed here.
